Chris has over 25 years in the medical field, including 17 years as a paramedic. She has extensive experience creating and managing programs that delivered healthcare for people suffering from homelessness, mental illness and addictions. She has been a Certified Instructor CPR/AED and Advanced First Aid with the American Heart Association since 2004, and is a former instructor for medical assistant and phlebotomy certification courses.
After many years in the conventional medical world she has realized the strengths of that system, as well as its limitations. Chris very much appreciates the opportunity to now work within a new medical paradigm where each patient is uniquely treated to meet his or her individual medical needs, as opposed to the “one-size-fits-all” system that has become the norm in conventional medicine. For her, working with naturopaths, in providing patient-focused medicine is something she wishes she would have done all along. She has seen firsthand the difference between treating conditions with medications, versus guiding each individual in their journey of healing.
She truly enjoys working at PWC, has great admiration for the providers and staff, and appreciates the team spirit of a group who all work together to provide the best care for each patient.
