Dr. Roman Krupa

Dr. Roman Krupa was born in Slovakia and grew up in a New York City suburb in scenic New Jersey. He attributes his unique perspectives on health and healing from his multi-disciplinary educational background, diverse work history, from the trials and tribulations of his personal health challenges and life in general. His undergraduate studies include aeronautics, recording engineering,  pre-med and a degree in electronics engineering technology. He worked in construction for many years, tried his hand in the music industry, did field work as an audio & video tech where he installed high-end sound and video systems, and once landed a role as an extra in a movie.

In his mid-20s, after being told that his medical condition was “incurable,” Dr. Krupa embarked on a crusade to get to the heart of the matter, pursuing several years of self-study and research into numerous healing modalities and learning about the politics of medicine. His determination ultimately led to the healing of his condition and to what he calls a “second chance at life” in his early 30s. In moments of gratitude and long-awaited clarity, he found his life’s calling and dedicated his life to helping others heal their ills. Armed with only his necessities, persevering nature, and mighty New Jersey accent, he drove across the country, enduring three days of nothing but corn fields, and attended medical school in Portland, OR.

He is excited and privileged to share his passion, knowledge, and experience in natural medicine with others. He strives to empower and guide his patients to achieve optimal health. Experience has shown him that with personal commitment and appropriate medical care, we can all attain optimal health. He affords his patients the safest and most effective integrative treatments through a fusion of modern science and ancient wisdom.  He is an authority on weight loss and has helped well over 2000 people lose weight and keep it off. He loves working with kids and adults of all ages.

Dr. Krupa is a graduate of the National College of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon, and a member of the Association for the Advancement of Restorative Medicine. He studied with world-renowned homeopaths and received advanced training in intravenous (IV) therapy, as well as instruction in balneotherapy at the prestigious Danubius Health Spa Resort in Piestany, Slovakia, one of Central Europe’s oldest medical spas known worldwide for their healing waters and hydrotherapy treatments. He is the author of several articles on health, has been interviewed on the radio, and has lectured on various health-related topics. Dr. Krupa is the owner and Clinic Director of PWC.

On a more whimsical note, Dr. Krupa fancies light reading before bed, especially medical research and Telegram posts. He is a runner and enjoys playing guitar and reminiscing about the days when he had long hair (or just hair) and played in bands. He loves humor and enjoyed a brief stint performing comedy onstage. Much to the dismay of his neighbors, he likes to juice and can frequently be seen drinking delicious swamp-like concoctions throughout the day. He is the proud father of two daughters and loves being a Dad.
