Brain Spotting

Feel Better Sooner

BrainSpotting Therapy

BrainSpotting activates the body’s natural ability to heal from trauma. It helps access the physical and emotional “locations” where difficult experiences are stored, allowing the nervous system to release what it has been holding.

BrainSpotting works with the limbic system, the part of the brain involved in emotion, memory, motivation, impulse control, and overall emotional regulation. By bypassing the brain’s “thinking” cortex, this approach is thought to directly access deeper brain structures connected to emotional processing and healing.

What Is a Brain Spot?

A Brain Spot is an eye position that connects to a specific area of activation in the brain related to the issue you’re working on. By identifying and focusing on this spot, BrainSpotting allows the brain and body to process and release unresolved trauma and stress naturally.

How BrainSpotting Helps

BrainSpotting is most commonly used in trauma therapy and the treatment of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). It has also been reported to help with:

  • Trauma and emotional distress

  • Chronic stress and anxiety

  • Injury recovery and chronic pain

  • Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)

  • ADHD

  • Low motivation and burnout

  • Anger, procrastination, and difficulty concentrating

What to Expect in a Session

BrainSpotting is a gentle yet powerful therapeutic approach. It does not involve physical touch and is guided by a strong, attuned connection between you and your clinician.

Dr. Gaby offers BrainSpotting as a supportive, transformative treatment that accesses where trauma is stored in the body and brain—promoting deep, lasting healing from the inside out.

How Do I Know BrainSpotting Is Working?

The answer is simple: it works because you did it.

Like any therapeutic approach, most concerns are not resolved in a single session. BrainSpotting is a process, and each session builds on the work of the last, allowing for gradual, meaningful change over time.
